Town Point Fire Department

This site is dedicated to the Town Point Fire Department Engine No. 1 and it crew.

Engine No.1 was purchased on September 09, 2001 by Bobby Holmes. This date is easy to remember because just two days later the world trade center was attacked.

On my way home from teaching a program in Hershey, Pa I discovered the Engine sitting in a used car lot just outside of Hershey with a for sale sign on it. I stopped and took a few picture to take home to think if this was a project that I could complete. After showing those picture to a few friends, they thought that I was crazy for thinking this Engine could be restored.

A few days later it was being towed home.
